Bounce House Rentals at Lafreniere Park
Allowed — with four rules that catch most people out. Read these before you book anything.
Yes, Lafreniere Park allows bounce houses — at a rented shelter, from an approved vendor, with insurance documentation on file. We're set up for exactly that and deliver here constantly.
Four things the park requires: a rented shelter, dry units only, one bounce house, and a generator — shelters have no electricity.
The four rules, plainly
- No water. Water-play equipment is prohibited at Lafreniere shelters — that includes water slides, water guns, water balloons and baby pools. Dry units only. No exceptions.
- One bounce house. The park allows one instant canopy and one bounce house per shelter rental. If you were picturing three units side by side, that's a different park.
- Shelter must be rented. No shelter, no inflatable.
- Generator required, rented from us. Shelter electricity is unavailable and the park requires the renter to supply the generator.

How to book it, in order
- Check our availability first. No point reserving a shelter for a date we can't cover.
- Reserve your shelter with Lafreniere Park.
- Tell the Park Office you're using Bounce World. This is required — the renter is responsible for giving the park the bounce house company's details and insurance documentation.
- We send the insurance certificate. That's the document the park wants on file. It's the additional insured certificate, 4.5% of your order.
- Pick a dry unit. We'll steer you to the ones that hold up best in Metairie heat.
What it costs on our side
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Park location fee | $35 |
| Additional insured certificate (required by the park) | 4.5% of order |
| Generator — required, no shelter electricity | Quoted with your order |
Shelter rental is paid separately to Lafreniere Park. Minimum order amounts apply depending on availability.
Power: there is no outlet
Shelter electricity is unavailable at Lafreniere, and park rules put the generator on the renter. We supply it — one generator per inflatable, quoted with your order. A blower has to run continuously; if power stops, the unit is flat in under a minute.
